Print is NOT dead (by L.Matejka) AMEN! I couldn’t agree more. Spent a good part of the morning with Natalie at the Friends of the Seattle Public Library book sale. I’m going to be honest with you… I walked out of that sale with 30 books. Yup. Today was the half price day at the sale too, so I mean I spent $20 and I bought 10 hardcover, 20 paperback including several Hemingway, six poetry books, a few misc books I’ve been wanting copies of, and even an Italian cookbook that looks like a book my grandmother would have in her kitchen. Natalie bought 22 books herself, so by the time we were home this afternoon and unloading the car it looked as though we had robbed a library. We couldn’t be happier.
